Social Skills Summer Camp @ Wanawadi, Pune
Social Skills Summer Camp for children was organized at Brahma Kumaris Wanawadi branch from 03May to 06May. The theme selected for the children camp was “Improve Social Skills”. Around 80 children attended the 4 days camp. Under social intelligence topic, children were educated on improving positive communication skills, active listening, resolving conflicts and core values. Other interesting sessions on improving memory power, rajayoga meditation, zumba dance, inspirational videos, art & craft, theater games, games were also presented to the kids age group of 8-15 years.
Parents too had sessions on positive thinking, stress management, parent child relationship and rajayoga meditation.
After successful completion of the camp 25% of the participants enrolled for further practical training on Rajayoga meditation.
In the wake of COVID-19, educators are facing unprecedented challenges, including the disruption of established instructional programs and routines, the rapid transition from in-person teaching to remote learning, the emotional toll of isolation due to social distancing efforts, and uncertainty about personal safety and health.
UNESCO new research highlighted that 9.1 million teachers out of 63 million across the world are untrained to deal with altered situations. In India, 2.7 million teachers are untrained to face new challenges.
The challenges are affecting teachers physically, mentally, emotionally across the globe.
A webinar is arranged to reflect on the teacher’s spiritual well-being and the profound practices to accept and adapt to new challenges, yet maintaining peace of mind.
